Google Scholar PDF reader
Google Scholar recently unveiled a nice PDF reader for Chrome: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/dahenjhkoodjbpjheillcadbppiidmhp.
One particularly nice feature is that you can click on inline references and it will show a popup right there with the reference abstract and a Google Scholar link to it. This is how they describe it:
• Preview references as you read. Click the in-text citation to see a summary and find the PDF.
Could the Zotero PDF reader implement something similar?

aborelThe reference preview has been implemented in Zotero 7. A one-click jump to the actual document is possible when a DOI is shown for the reference, but I agree that it would be nice to have a more general mechanism.
