The Chicago Manual of Style omits page p. and pp.

I am using the Chicago Style 17th edition (author-date), but it omits page p. and pp.

How do I get them in?

    Chicago Manual doesn't use those. Why do you want/need to?

    Just had to do a major by-hand correction in the last stage of editing for a journal that insisted on p. and pp.

    Which journal? If they use p/pp, they're not using Chicago style (or at a minimum, deviating in that way)
