Mixed styles for in-text citations

I am writing a paper in APA 7th edition, which requires author's last name and year for in text citations (Patton, 1990), but half of in-text citations include first and last name followed by the year (Joshua P. Vogel et al., 2023). I checked preferences, tried to reinsert citations, but no luck. How can I fix it?

    If you get the full first name, that's almost certainly incorrectly entered data. It should be entered as "Vogel, Joshua P." in two separate fields. If you see "Joshua P. Vogel" in Zotero's right-hand pane, that's the problem.
