Zotero bar keeps showing

Hi. When i add or insert a citation then the Zotero bar loads and keeps showing green. It doesn't go out, and my docs therefore keeps showing "zotero loading". I then have to refresh the docs page everytime. Do any of you have an idea on how I can fix this? Thanks a lot. I am on the most recent Zotero version

On my macbook it is extremly slow. But on windows its much faster. Do anybody know how to fix this on MacBook?
