Copy Rich Text from web page directly to Zotero note without loosing formatting

If I copy formatted Rich Text from a web page via browser (Vivaldi = Chromium based) to a Zotero note, it will be pasted as plain text.
If I first paste it to LibreOffice (Rich Text appearing there), then copy again from LibreOffice to Zotero, the text appears as formatted Rich Text, like expected.
Any idea if there is a workaround, to make this work directly?
Working here with Linux, so Primary and Secondary clipboard may be a problem?

Thanks :-)

    OK, now it gets odd. Tried different combinations:

    # Computer 1

    ## icewm window manager (default)

    * vivaldi does not work
    * firefox does not work

    ## xfce4 window manager

    * vivaldi does not work
    * firefox does work

    # Computer 2

    ## xfce4 window manager

    * vivaldi does work (older vivaldi version)
    * firefox does work

    So it maybe does not really look like a Zotero problem only, although in each constellation LibreOffice can paste the rich text, so it somehow *always is* in the clipboard, and should be accessible also by Zotero.

    After that i tried out several clipboard managers, which are able to use rich text, all of them worked with LibreOffice, none of them worked with Zotero
