how to add a period after the year in a reference

I am using frontiers in medicine style, however, i need to add a period after the year can you please tell me how to do it ?

Are you saying the style is wrong or that you need this for a different journal (if so which?).
Generally, style editing is described here: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step but it's not completely trivial, so better to find a simple solution that to start customizing styles
