Import PDF from command line

Can I import a PDF from the command line? I'm on Windows. Something like:

zotero.exe c:\literature\article.pdf

I've seen threads on related issues, but I've not come across a solution.

    Certainly not easily, no. You could definitely do this with the server API. Might be possible locally via the debug bridge connection made available through the BBT add-on, but I'm not sure

    OK, that's a pity.

    Alternatively, can a PDF be imported using a zotero:// link? I see these being discussed, but I don't think I've seen a command for importing PDFs in this way. (Where is the documentation for the zotero:// links?)

    No.

    You can certainly do this with the web API or debug-bridge + some JS code.

    A later version of Zotero 7 will allow opening PDFs via Zotero to import them.
