Delete index manually

Since I add books to my list, usually a few hundred pages, which causes the index file to grow larger, and I don't need to index these books, I only need to index papers, can I manually delete the index of certain attachments like books or larger files? I think index would jam my computer if it was too big.

I see that the settings contain indexing of unindexed attachments. Is there a function to delete some attachment indexes?
