Upgrade StorageProblems with inserting quotes

I am having problems with inserting quotes.
I open the bar which also allows me to find and select the correct paper in my library. Then I select them and press enter.
Now it has been a while that I have done this three times. The first time it said {Citation} instead of my source. I deleted that and repeated it, then there was an eternally long, incomprehensible text, which I also deleted. The third time it always worked.
But now it no longer works at all. I select the paper, press Enter and nothing happens, no citation appears.
What can I do?
P.S.: I installed ZotFile and Better BibTex because I wanted to connect my Obsidian to Zotero. That worked fine at the beginning, but it doesn't work anymore.
