Omitting place of publication for Chicago, 18th ed?

Hello all! The 18th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style will apparently no longer require bibliographic entries to note place of publication for books. Could anyone provide assistance with how to manually edit Zotero's current Chicago (author-date) template to remove place of publication?

I've seen this for CMoS, but the 18th edition is not out until September. We typically try to provide a style update within a month or so of the release of a major manual's update.
If you really do want this now, I think literally deleting all lines that include publisher-place from the style should work pretty well, but I haven't looked at this very closely.
