Dragging-and-Dropping text to copy from Zotero PDF reader

When you drag and drop text from the Zotero PDF reader, highlighted or not, you get a bunch of tags, I think html, for example:
<�!DOCTYPE html><�html><�head><�meta charset="utf-8"><�/head><�body><�div class="zotero-notes"><�div class="zotero-note"><�p><�span class="highlight">

I'm not talking about quick-copying entries as bibliography entries, that works.

Is there a way to drag and drop text from the PDFs to a notes program where it just copies the text?

I can copy-paste it with no problem, but dragging would make it a bit faster.

Edit:
Apologies, I just noticed this problem is specific to Obsidian. It doesn't happen in Libreoffice Writer. I'll try fixing it from Obsidian's side then.
