Blinking cursor is strange

I am using apple sillicon mac. The blinking cursor in zotero's input field is strange. Normally it should be a clean vertical line blinking in the text inputting field. However, it has a short horizontal line on the top 1/4 location of the vertical line after something has been put into the field.

I'm not seeing that. What macOS version? Does this happen after restarting your computer? Do you see this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”)? Can you provide a Report ID?

This might also have something to do with using a non-English input mode.
