Upgrade Storage[PDF Reader] Split View Functionality

When the screen is split, the UI toolbar buttons for "Zoom to page-width" don't work. Also, it doesn't seem like the Find functionality (Ctrl + F) can be initiated on the split view. It only works on the 'original' pdf to the left of the split view of the pdf.
