Navigation (forward/backward) among collections

I often study within a collection (sub-folder) and then have to search for another paper/keyword from the entire "My Library". After finding relevant info/paper, then I need to find my way back to the original sub-folder. It may become quite challenge as the number of collections becomes large and complicated

So I wonder maybe there is a way to navigate forward/backward to the previous "view" in the central panel (where lists all the entries in the current selection or filtering) so we can quickly jump back and forth among several collections or search (like a breadcrumb) . It is almost like the forward/backward navigation button in the web browser.
