Zotero Chrome Plugin not recognising newspaper sites

I want to save a lot of newspaper articles to my Zotero library for a research project. While the Chrome Plugin recognises some newspaper articles as such (e.g., from The Guardian, The New York Times), it's failing to recognise others (e.g., from The Daily Mail and several local newspaper sites).

Is there anything I can do either to rectify this translation issue or to batch edit the items once created? I literally have hundred of articles to catalogue and would like to avoid editing each individual item...

We always need example URLs for problems with saving. But some sites just aren't supported and don't provide good default metadata, and in that case you'd have to edit the metadata manually until a translator is written.

Batch editing is planned, but it doesn't exist yet. It's possible to make batch edits with code:
