Zotero 7 Beta: Using Keyboard to highlight text no longer works

Hi, I really like the new features in Zotero 7 but one feature from the older version is missing: using shift+arrow keys to expand or shift a highlight and/or shift+ctrl/option+arrow keys to go word by word. Is there a plan to bring this to Zotero 7? PDF.js viewer in Firefox has this feature and I really want my ability to read and highlight in the same place
