Error in note synchronistation

I use to take notes on articles and books directly within Zotero so my notes are sync between different PCs. I had an issue when trying to modify a note. Zotero asked me to choose between a note that was saved locally and a note saved on the server (I had done modifications on an other computer). I thought I choose the note saved on the server (with the additional modifications) but when coming back to it, only the version locally saved appeared both on my computer and on the online library. Any thoughts on how I could get the other version back ?

You might be able to restore the note contents from the zotero.sqlite.bak or zotero.sqlite.1.bak files in the Zotero data directory on the other computer. See Restoring From the Last Automatic Backup. You'd want to copy the note contents to a new note, and then you could let it sync. The change to the original note would be downloaded, but the new note would remain.
