Item Type: Press Release?

I'm not sure how to cite this:
http://www.openpr.com/news/120950/subito-and-Thieme-Agree-to-Cooperate-on-Delivering-Content-From-Electronic-Books.html. I want to be more specific than just calling it a web page. And I want to include in the fielded data the name of the company that issued the press release and the name of the person listed as the contact on the press release.
  • see if you can work with manuscript or document (manuscript is preferable) - use Press Release in the type field.
  • Thanks that is better than what I was doing.
And in a prefect world I would have separate field for the company issuing (in many cases there are two) and the person listed as contact. I'm not sure how to judge the permanence of a URL at openpr.com. It's not the same as linking to a CrossRef DOI, or even a blogger "permalink".
  • why not put the institutions as authors?
You could add the contact person maybe just as part of the type field?
("Press Release; Contact person John Smith" or so) Or as part of the title, depending on how you want the citation to look.
Might not be the most elegant solution, but since few styles will have specific guidelines on how to cite a press release, it doesn't matter much that things wouldn't be customizable by the style.
Obviously, if you just need that for your records you can always put it in a note.
