How to do zotero metadata updates

Data captured via web pages often has issues with items such as time not being captured. For this reason I installed the Linter for Zotero plugin, but the new problem when updating the metadata via Linter for Zotero, the summary part of the entry is cleared.
How are you guys doing the metadata update?
