PDFs will not open in system reader when double-clicked
I am using v7.0.0-beta.68+c31a40c74 (64-bit) in Windows 11.
I have set Zotero to open PDFs using the system default reader. My system default is Drawboard PDF. When I double-click the PDF icon, nothing happens. I can only open it by selecting Show File from the context menu for the PDF. It also opens if I set it to open in Zotero, or to open using Adobe Acrobat. This is true whether I set them custom, or change either one to be the default reader.

AbeJellinekThanks, looking into this.

AbeJellinek@KRCovey: This will be fixed in the next beta. There doesn't seem to be a way for us to support Drawboard as custom (i.e., not as the system default, but chosen in Zotero settings under Custom...). This is a longstanding limitation that Windows puts on UWP/Windows Store apps. Non-UWP apps like Acrobat will work, though.
