Tags will not remain deleted

For several months, I have attempted to delete the specific original tag I used to sync my documents from Zotero to Notion. Subsequently, I have attempted to remove this tag and all documents numerous times using my iPad and MacBook.; initially, the tag will be deleted however it returns. I am unsure how to remediate having the specific tag removed permanently.

    If you remove a tag from Zotero, it will be removed. If you're using a plugin for Notion integration and that's restoring tags, we don't have anything to do with that.
