Will not work once the document is saved

Zotero will not refresh and load my reference list if I save the document. I can copy and pasted into an unsaved Word doc and it works fine. I can add and edit citations and it will refresh correctly. Once I save it, It says Zotero experienced an error updating your document. Would you like to view troubleshooting instructions? - I have done all the troubleshooting and it still won't work.

    You're likely either saving in the wrong format (i.e., not .docx) or saving to OneDrive, which is known to cause problems (#7).

    If it's not either of those, we'd want to see a Debug ID for reproducing this.

    Thanks! I did all the suggestions on the troubleshooting errors page and still got the same results. I opened the doc this morning and tried to refresh a few times and got it to work after three tries. I will try to recreate the error and send you a debug ID
