zoom when clicking on reference

when I click on the reference in the text, it jumps to the reference list (as intended) but with very high zoom, which highly lags my computer. Also when I click on the "back" or "previous view" arrow (<), the zoom STAYS the same, which is annoying.

Can this feature be somehow turned off? Thanks
