"Software update failed"

Every time I open Zotero I get this message saying the 'update failed' and to make sure no other copies of Zotero. I have checked - only one copy as far as I can tell.

  • Have you tried restarting your computer?

    If that doesn't work, you can just delete Zotero from Applications and reinstall Zotero from the download page. Your data won't be affected.
