iOS not syncing

Items in my laptop zotero (and checked, it is in the web based) are not showing up in my iPad zotero.
I've followed all the "sync" troubleshooting and nothing.
This is similar to another thread (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/112860/ios-syncing-issue/p1), but I'm not sure if it is exactly the same as I havent tried adding pdfs on my iPad to see if it syncs that way.

  • Do you mean that new items you add on the laptop aren't showing up at all on the iPad, or just that some previously added items didn't sync?
  • Also, that item was created in February. Do you by any chance have a more recent example?
  • That is one of the more recent, this problem has been going on for at least a month, if not more, I just didn’t bother to attempt to fix it until this past week.

    But yes, items added on the laptop were not showing up on the iPad.

    I signed out of zotero on the laptop and iPad, restarted both, signed in, and it synced. There were close to 100 items the iPad had not synced from the laptop.

    Yes, thanks, we've identified the problem. Basically, if you hadn't been using the app and then saved something from the browser that included a PDF, any changes since the last time you opened the app would be skipped.

    We've fixed this for the next version (1.0.31), which should be out within the next day or so. The new version will automatically download any skipped updates, but for now, signing out and in will download your full library. Until 1.0.31 is out, opening the app briefly before saving will make sure you have the latest remote changes.
