Upgrade Storage[Android] bug? cannot change annotation color

used zotero connector to retrieve this paper: https://doi.org/10.4049/jimmunol.1700062
attempting to annotate on phone, using united airlines wifi (unlikely to be relevant)
when i attempt to change the annotation color from yellow (default) to red, it appears to work but reverts to yellow whenever i close and open the doc or open and close the annotation sidebar
i have just confirmed that this issue persists across other downloaded pdfs
