[Zotero 7 Beta] Right-Click behaving like a Left-Click in many places

I expect that a Right-Click should be something safe to do anywhere: it should show me a menu, but never execute anything.

This is the case for example when doing a right-click on a tab. I can move it without having to open it.
Same for a right-click on a section title in the Item Pane. Also, a right-click on the "+" in that section title does not do anything, which is correct.

But in many cases, a right-click either executes a command or moves focus, which I do not think is correct (except in text editing mode):

1) Delete/Add authors in the Item Pane

2) Same for the circled "-" next to a tag in the Tags section of the Item Pane

3) But a right-click on the circled "-" next to "Notes" or "Libraries and Collections" in the Item Pane "pins" the button:

4) Right-click on a collection opens the collection. For example, it takes a long time to hide the Duplicate Items special collection, as it needs to search all the duplicates before showing me the right-click menu.
For example, in Thunderbird, a right-click on a folder does not open it. Same in Gmail, Evernote, ...

5) The View Online button next to the DOI or URL in the Item Pane is triggered by a left-click.

6) Same for a right-click on the Magic Wand ("Add Item(s) by Identifier") or the magnifying glass above the collections ("Filter Collections")

7) Right-click on an item in the Items Tree actually selects the item.
I cannot keep the focus on a list of items, while opening another one in a separate window.
I cannot copy the citation of an item while editing a note in the right-side pane of My Library. [I can do it by opening the note in a separate window.]

...

All these are small issues, but is there any reason why they behave like this?
  • We'll take a look at these. I'm not seeing all of these on macOS, for what it's worth — e.g., right-clicking on (-) for creators and tags opens the context menu, while for notes (where there's no context menu) it does nothing. We'll see whether we can reproduce on Windows.

The collection/item ones are long-standing issues that would be good to fix but will just take some extra work. E.g., you can see that Thunderbird has to do a weird thing where it shows the clicked row as temporarily selected while leaving a dashed outline around the original row and then restores the selection on the original row after.
