Why the notes in Zotero do not allow for Redo?

I am using Zotero in MacOS and the text typing doesn't allow to Redo after some changes have been made in the text editor.
It's a very basic feature in all the text editors and it is sad to see that the lack of it inhibits a natural flow of writing.

    I do see the edit option greyed out on Windows, but ctrl+y (i.e. cmd+y on Mac) works to redo?

    I wish that cmd+y worked, but I don't see it working on my Mac.

    Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + Z works everywhere. Ctrl + Y works on Windows/Linux.

    Oh yes, Cmd + Shift + Z worked! Why didn't I know this before!
    But, it's weird that Cmd + Y works everywhere, but not in the Zotero notes.

    Tried it in MS Word and Sublime text editor and it works there.
