Zotero is not connecting to my word

When I try to add it a citation, I keep getting the message "Missing permission". The message further goes to say Zotero does not have permission to control word. When I follow the chain of commands given and grant permission to zotero and restart word. When i then try again to add citation, no citation is added to my word document. My word document and system (MacOS monterey) are all up to date.
What is the best solution to overcome this problem?

    What exactly happens? Can you restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID for doing this?
