XML migration with URLS/DOIs separated into attachments
Apologies for I am new to Zotero and migrating from EndNote. So this may be a dumb question but I cannot figure out or find any info on how to fix this issue after importing my EndNote XML library into Zotero.
The issue: Most of the URLS/DOIs for references have been imported as an attachment to the reference. I want the URL/DOI info to be in the reference metadata, in the URL or DOI field respectively.
Is there a simple way to do this (i.e. copy and paste the URL/DOI from the attachment into the URL/DOI metadata field for the corresponding reference) as a bulk action?

I know I can ask Zotero to update DOIs and this would fix some of them but not all. I really don't want to manually copy and paste 1000+ URLs/DOIs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

It's not an issue if there is a DOI and a URL for the reference, as the DOI can be updated if it's not already there (and the URL attachment deleted), like in this case:

But for references without a DOI but with URL, it has the URL separately as an attachment and nothing in the URL field:

No unfortunately I couldn't work out a quick fix. What I did was use Saved Search after importing to Zotero to identify all the references that needed the DOI/URL update and went through copy and pasting that DOI/URL from EndNote to Zotero manually. It was a bit annoying but I figured still quicker to do that than continuing to search the internet for a solution.
Good luck :)
