Distinguishing between linked and un-linked citations in Word

I'm cleaning up citations in a large manuscript that has been worked on by numerous people over a few years, and I'm discovering that references are a mix of ones linked to the Zotero library we're currently using (minority) and "orphans" that, I'm guessing, are from since-deleted Zotero entries but still stored in the MS Word file metadata (unfortunately the majority). This means that a single referenced work can show up multiple times in the citation dialog search results when inserting a citation using the "Add/Edit Citation" function in Word. In a few cases, a single reference showed up numerous times in the "cited" section of the citation dialog search results, and once in the section linked with my Zotero library. I've attached a screenshot as an example; as you can see, this is the case with "Workers' Self-Management in Argentina".

My question: is there a way for me to easily scan the manuscript text and distinguish between in-text citations (we're using Chicago author-date) that are 1) "orphans" and 2) those that are linked to my Zotero library? Or do I need to click on each individual citation and check using the Add/Edit Citation function?

For example, I was hoping there was some code I could use to highlight 1) and 2) in different colours. Appreciate any help you can provide!
