iOS: Text color changes instead of background highlight

In the iOS app version 1.0.27 Build 238, existing highlights are sometimes rendered with the text changing color instead of a background highlight. I found that switching back and forth between different display settings (appearance and page fitting) can toggle the behavior. It appears to happen more often with the Dark appearance, but sometimes it displays correctly in Dark.

Thanks for letting us know, the fix will be part of the next update. In the meantime, if you specifically select Light or Dark Appearance in the reader settings (not Automatic) and close the current document, it should work as expected.
