How to read comfortably on iphone?

How to read research papers and journal articles comfortably on iphone? Currently layout or interface is so annoying and when i change into reading mode or compressed view it changes everything like annotations vanishing all the times.

    PDFs are PDFs — they have a fixed layout and don't reflow. That's what the reader mode is for.

    I'm not sure what you mean by this, but we're not currently able to show annotations in reader mode for technical reasons.

    Thanks for the response, i just wanted to know that am I missing something which I don’t know.
