Style error - malaria journal

Malaria journal style is not displaying the issue numbers. Would it be possible to update existing style to include the issue numbers when a journal article has one?

Could you provide a link to the guidelines asking to include the issue number? These guidelines do not mention about the issue number, only the article number (which is already handled by the CSL)
