Same issue here. Just upgraded to macOS Sonoma 14.3.1, and Zotero won't open anymore.

My current version of Zotero is 6.0.30. There seems to be an issue with "updater". A pop-up message says it is damaged (when I click on Zotero icon). What should I do?

(Please

— the thread you posted to isn't related. I've moved this to a new thread.)
If you get a message that the Zotero app is damaged, that wouldn't have anything to do with the permissions issue in the other thread.
You should delete Zotero from Applications and reinstall it from the
download page
. Your data won't be affected.
