New Computer
Hii
Thank you so much in advance!
I have now been using zotero for years though when I first started I didn't entirely know how it all worked (I'm still not particularly tech savvy but now online drives and things).
I've ended up with two zotero directories/database folders (.sqlite files, and atleast 2 storage folders of the wild 5 letter folders stored in different places) and have a new computer so want to merge it all together. I've no clue how I ended up with this or what to do next.
I've tried reading up and I understand that the sqlite is safer not stored on an online drive... but everything else I don't understand as far as having 2 .sqlite files and 2 folders storage .
Please keep in mind I am not particularly tech savvy - be gentle
So I suppose my 2Q's:
- How do I merge my content from 2 sqlite files (and 2 storage folders associated with the sqlife files)?
- Best way to create/store a 'backup'? is it just an export of the database? is it a copy of sqlite?
Thank you so much in advance!
