Zotero forces browser window to minimize on mac

When google docs - add citation, the zotero red bar launches and minimize the whole browser only showing the red bar and the desktop behind it. Like if its not able to draw on top of other apps. Tested with newest version of zotero connect and both firefox and chrome.

Are you using full-screen mode and/or spaces? Zotero doesn't minimize anything, but if you're in full-screen mode or a dedicated space than it's possible you'd see some weird interactions as Zotero brings the citation dialog (which is part of the Zotero app, not the browser) to the front.
