unable to save anything!

i just downloaded zotero and the chrome extension. i synced my account and followed all instructions! But now it wont let me save anything through the extension to zotero! I just keep getting "an error occurred saving.." and i dont know how to fix it. I reinstalled everything and restarted my chrome. nothing works! please help!
