Safari connector folder lists empty in Zotero 7 beta

Safari on macos 14.3.1, Zotero 7.0.0-beta.62+b15fb36f1: on sites where single item import works fine via the Safari connector, the lists (if the connector icon is a folder and would allow import of one or several items if I "Select which items you'd like to add to your library:") are empty:

Below are examples from Royal Society B and Springer, both open access:

just for info. not urgent, the Firefox connector works fine.
