How to restore my Zotero library after a defunct pendrive?
Hi
I've been using Zotero from Firefox Portable on my pendrive for the past eight weeks or so. It was all going smoothly until my pendrive stopped working. My laptop's simply not detecting the pendrive anymore and technicians have tried to retrieve the data with no success.
I've managed to recover the majority of my Zotero library from the last sync I did on Jan 12th but I'm finding that I can no longer access the PDFs I've attached as stored files. The error message asks me to locate the file, which I assume would be located in the Zotero directory in my now-defunct pendrive?
Is there a way of restoring my Zotero library without having to re-locate, re-save and re-attach these PDFs?
Many thanks,
Ya-wen

adamsmithif you don't have a backup and didn't sync the files (note that file-syncing is distinct from general sync) - no.
