Upgrade StorageZotero Google Docs extension in Chrome not working

As of this morning (2/21), I'm having the issue with the Zotero google docs extension that has been recently reported by other users: "add/edit citation" results in a link box showing up, and the process of adding a citation appears to complete, but no citation shows up. I am using Chrome.
Zotero connector version on Chrome is 5.0.117. According to other forum responses, Chrome automatically updates zotero connector for users, so I assume my extension version is 5.0.117 as well, but I am not sure how/if I can confirm that.
My Zotero version is 6.0.31.
Any suggestions for how to fix this issue?
