Upgrade StorageWord could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure that Zotero is open and try again.
Hi,
I am facing this error "Word could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure that Zotero is open and try again.". I have the Microsoft Word for Mac version 16.82 (24021116), I have installed recently and can't make to run Zootero smoothly.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled both Word and Zotero 6 and 7 following the links below but no luck.

I suspect that it has something to do with the "Zotero.dotm" file, given that when I erroneously replaced such file by the one downloaded here "https://github.com/zotero/zotero-word-for-windows-integration/raw/main/install/Zotero.dotm", which is for Windows and not MacOS, the button for "Unlink Citations" is now with green color, differently when it is completely inactive. However, I still get the same error message and can't use Zotero.
I am using MacOS Sonoma14.2.1 (23C71).
Any advice is welcome.
