Upgrade StorageZotero for Google docs not working properly on Mac

I work in my document in Google docs using the Google Chrome browser with Zotero for Mac open. In my document, I choose the "Add/edit bioliography" option from the drop-down menu, and Google docs only hangs.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Zotero
2. Open Google Chrome
3. Open a document in Google docs containing Zotero references
4. Choose "Add/edit bibliography" option from the drop-down menu "Zotero" in Google docs
A large red bar is displayed, but no reaction.
