Citation error in Google Docs

I have been adding citations to my Google document for a while. I went to add some new citations (clicked add/ edit citation in the Google Doc tab and chose the source I wanted from the zotero app on my Macbook computer) but the citation is not showing up. Zotero will say it's done updating the document but nothing new appears. I have tried reloading my page, restarting zotero, and updating zotero but nothing seems to be working.

~~Can you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for trying to insert a citation and having it not appear?~~
