1) Separation of volume, issue, and article number
Frontiers uses a colon instead of a comma to separate these.
2) Separation of book title and editors
Frontiers separates the book title and the editors (before "eds") by a comma.
3) Conference Paper
Frontiers uses "TITLE," for conference papers as part of conference books. The quotation marks and comma is missing in the CSL.
4) Capitalization of first word of sub title
Frontiers SOMETIMES capitalizes the first letter of the sub title after the colon.
5) Available online
Frontiers SOMETIMES uses "Available online at" instead of "Available at".

and no need to list the "sometimes" examples: if something is so unimportant that Frontiers can't be bothered to properly typeset it in their articles, I don't think we need to be in the business of reading the tea-leaves of what they "actually" want. If something is in the author guidelines, we'll follow that, otherwise we'll just keep things as they are.
