PubMed bulk downloading

Hi, i know this was previously a bug, but it seems it was fixed almost a year ago with v 5.0.106. However, today while citing papers for my research paper i got a bulk downloading violation from PubMed after only using zotero connector for one paper. I don't know if PubMed made some changes to their website environment that could have caused this or if this was a sentinel event, but i wanted to report it anyways in case this is a new issue.

This occurred on a private home network with one user (me) and zotero connector v 5.0.114. Article cited was URL: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6748314/
I did not have debugging running when this occurred, but i went to a different non-blocked article to see if this could maybe help diagnose the issue (though I doubt it will). Debug ID for this attempted debug is D414662865.

To follow this up, I used a VPN to access another ip address and debugged with this result using firefox: D892897091, after a few minutes this ip address was also blocked by PubMed for bulk download. Connector was only used once.
  • The previous issue was about people accessing sites (including PubMed) on-campus after having previously accessed them via an institutional proxy, which resulted in a redirect loop from the proxy and the Zotero Connector. It doesn't sound like that's your situation (and that was a temporary regression in the Connector that we fixed at the time).

Saving a single item and PDF from PubMed Central certainly shouldn't cause this, and we haven't received any other reports, so I'm afraid I don't have much to suggest here. If you continue to see this, you might want to try from the Zotero 7 beta, which identifies itself differently when downloading files.
