Zotero Plugin (Edge Windows) doesnt download

Hey, my zotero plugin sometimes says it is online or offline. Neither lets me add documents to my library. it is almost like the link is gone. I tried deinstalling and installing the plugin. Nothing worked. can anyone please help?
