Adding pdf's from Google Drive to Zotero

Sorry, I'm a novice. I have uploaded pdf's to my Google Drive and can't figure out how to add these to Zotero, including uploading the pdf. Please help

I'd recommend reading through Adding Items to Zotero.

You can add files in Google Drive as linked files, but that's not a recommended workflow.
