Automatic way to correct metadata of an entry or entries

Hello everyone,

The metadata could often be incomplete and incorrect, so I need to correct them when use in papers.

I wonder whether there is way to automatically correct an entry based on some external sources, such as crossref, google scholar, or even the webpage of the paper with zotero connector. I do not want to delete and recreate the entry because the betterbib citation key and the linked PDF (or anything else) might be messed up.
