Hi,

in Word, when opening the Zotero dialogue to add a new citation, the cursor jumps into the field "page number", whereas it should jump into the field "search". Minor detail, but one annoying click each time I open the dialogue. First thing I want to do is filter the entries, then click the entry, then add page number

I’m not a Zotero developer, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the “classic” Add Citation dialog you are using were removed now that the default “quick citation” dialog (with the red border) lists the items that are selected or open in the Zotero app. I would suggest switching back to the default dialog and trying it out.

Thanks Bwiernik. I went to preferences->Cite scroll down a bit until I saw Word Processors and deselect the "use classic citation dialog" switch.

Have to see how much I like this new workflow. It adds one more click to be able to enter the page number (But the problem remains with the classic citation dialog).

It doesn't — you can just type the page number at the end of the bubble after picking a source from the list.
